Mini Skirts

Picture London in the sixties: young people struggling against the older generation and the austerity of the post-war period. It is in this context that Mary Quant created the miniskirt, a symbol of the rejection of previous aesthetic and social norms. Since then short skirts have invaded our wardrobes like an unstoppable force. Bell cut, circle cut, wraparound, super short, or just over the knee: rebellion has never been so much fun.
